Who: Participants from wide range of healthcare organizations and perspectives including hospitals, physician practices, government agencies, universities, PR/marketing firms, publications and consultants, students and more.
What: Online healthcare discussion about how social media is and will be used for communications and marketing. Also includes general health communications dialogue.
When: Every Sunday, 9pm to 10pm US eastern time.
Where: The conversation is hosted on Twitter. The hashtag is #hcsm.
How: Use your favorite Twitter client to search on #hcsm. The moderator (@HealthSocMed) will ask you to introduce yourself and then the moderator will list the topics for discussion.
Why: @danamlewis wanted to create a collaborative community to build and learn from best practices, based on fast-paced 140 character conversations with candid questions and answers from social media leaders involved in healthcare communications and marketing.
